This is gorgeous! Really sweet, but not in a sickly way. It’s uplifting, I think the pear makes it an interesting taste combined with the pineapple and strawberry. The strawberries and the orange juice are both rich sources of vitamin C and the pineapple provides fibre and potassium. This is wheat free, gluten free and dairy free and is suitable for vegetarians and vegans and those following a detox. This recipe is from Carol Vorderman’s “Detox Recipes“.
Makes 2 drinks
- 125g strawberries, hulled
- Half a pear, peeled, cored and chopped
- Quarter of a pineapple, cored and chopped
- 125ml orange juice
- Cupful of ice
Put the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and frothy.
