Mango Melon and Peach Smoothie

photo (1)This is nice, although it has a bit of an unusual taste. I think it’s the combo of having the grape juice with everything else. This smoothie is rich in potassium, betacarotene and vitamin C- all of which are good for your nails and skin. This recipe is wheat free, gluten free, sugar free and dairy free and is suitable for those following a detox, vegetarians and vegans. This recipe is from Carol Vorderman’s “Detox Recipes”.

Makes 2 drinks

  • 150ml grape juice
  • 150ml orange juice
  • Half a mango, halved, peeled and stone removed
  • 2 slices galia or honeydew melon, peeled, seeded and chopped
  • 1 peach, skinned, stoned and chopped
  • Crushed ice

Put all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth
