I love how thick this drink is and the lovely peach taste- delicious 🙂 This drink will energise you and replenish your nutrient levels to make you feel great. The blueberries are great sources of vitamin C and antioxidants and the tofu provides body building protein, calcium and B vitamins. This recipe is from Carol Vorderman’s “Summer Detox” and is wheat free, gluten free, sugar free and dairy free and is suitable for vegetarians, vegans and those on a detox.
Makes 2 drinks
- 125g blueberries
- 1 peach, stone removed and chopped
- 200ml apple juice
- 150ml silken tofu or soya yogurt (I perfer tofu)
- 8-10 ice cubes.
Put all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
