Homemade Muesli with Dried Fruit

IMG_4171This is a really quick and easy breakfast recipe- it’s so much easier than making granola. It tastes good (although not AMAZING) and it’s nice and chewy. This recipe is dairy free, sugar free, wheat free and gluten free and is suitable for vegetarians and vegans and those following a detox. This recipe is from Carol Vorderman’s “Detox for Life”

Makes 4 servings

  • 175g porridge oats (use millet flakes if you’re sensitive to gluten)
  • 2 tablespoons oat bran
  • 60g raisins
  • 60g dates, chopped
  • 60g dried apricots, chopped
  • 60g flaxseeds, ground

Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Serve with dairy free milk. You can store larger quantities in an airtight container.
